    Big questions for new & medium-sized organisations

    Is fundraising success about dazzling social media content, urgency and donor impact, and an influential board? All those are important, but a recent US study of NFPs with revenue under $2 million found that the strongest predictive factor for success was having a written fundraising plan. With a plan, there was a correlation between improved fundraising results, and the levels of investment in fundraisers’ salaries and of board member involvement in fundraising. Without a plan, there was no correlation.
